Bukidnon rescuers showcase skills in 4th Rescue Olympics

Epan MALAYBALAY CITY (PIA)--Rescuers from the local disaster stations in 20 towns and two cities of Bukidnon played their roles in the week-long 4th Rescue Olympics hosted by the provincial government through its Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO). Governor Rogelio Neil Roque led the opening ceremony on July 17. He underscored the event's relevance in honing skills. "To the strong men and women from various local disaster stations in the province, your roles in fostering readiness for disaster response are crucial. The games you play here will help save lives someday," he said.
